Today we will be turning quotas back on. (They've been off since December.)
When we do, the following changes will be in effect:
Shell and Mail default quotas - doubled from 2GB to 4GB
Extra disk blocks (1GB) - price halved from $10/m to $5/m
All Web services with disk quotas - default quotas doubled
V-Colos are not part of the quota system, but pricing for them will be
adjusted as well in the near future.
Please note that we are NOT automatically adjusting any extra disk blocks you
may have. We tried that before and many customers were upset. If you want to
drop extra disk blocks because you no longer need them, please send mail to
email@example.com and we'll do that for you. Or perhaps more conveniently, you
can use config.panix.com to remove (or add) disk blocks from your account(s)
Thank you for using Panix!
